Nicole Stackpole, MA
I collaborate with children, teens and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, self-love and expression see their true potential and self-worth within the person that they are. My clients typically share that my real expertise is being curious about helping them meet their goals in a personalized manner that helps them feel more confident, light and excited about the future and today.
Being a teenager or young adult can be challenging and overwhelming. You might be feeling left out, anxious, overwhelmed, like you aren’t where you should be in life or a lack of confidence. I believe all behavior is an attempt to communicate an emotion, need or desire.
I love helping teenagers and young adults come to a realization about their true potential and self-worth. Through deep listening, goal setting and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, together we can develop a true sense of self that you can be proud of and confident with. I believe in utilizing the whole person in the counseling process by using alternative therapies such as movement, art and creativity so we can address your personal challenges together.
I earned my BA in Communication Studies and Psychology from Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. Following my graduation, I went straight to graduate school at Antioch University of New England in Keene, NH and pursued my MA of Fine Arts in both Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy. I am dual licensed as a Registered- Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) and as a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition to working in the private practice setting, I also provide services to the community at a local non-profit, AGE of Central Texas serving older adults and their family caregivers.
